Not everyone is gifted with thick, curled eyelashes but thanks to the make-up industry we have this problem taken care of too! While putting on a layer of mascara may do the trick, but to give your eyes that va va voom factor, even mascara isn’t enough.
That is when you need false eyelashes to come forward. With so many types to choose from, from sultry to dramatic to just natural, the looks you can play with by just donning a pair of falsies are endless. The part where most of us struggle is putting them on.
Applying false eyelashes seems deceptively simple…till you actually have to do it. Watch this video and see how you can apply false eyelashes conveniently, every single time.
Things You Need:
- A pair of false eyelashes
- Eyelash glue
Take the eyelash out from the box. Next take the eyelash glue and just put a little bit of it on the rim of the eyelash. Make sure that the glue is evenly spread out along the rim. Using both your hands, place the false eyelash on top of your natural eyelash, as close to the natural rim as possible. Press the eyelash down a little to ensure that everything sticks to its place.
Use a Q-tip to clean any excess glue. And that is it.
There are a few more tips that you can make use of to make this process even simpler. For example, if you have trouble putting the eyelash on using your fingers, you can use a pair of tweezers to do it. Hold the eyelash with the tweezers and place it on top of your natural eyelash. Use the back of the tweezers to press the falsies down.
Like mentioned above, there are many different types of eyelashes, whichever you choose make sure that it is not just properly applied, but also suits your eye shape. Furthermore, eyes vary so much in their shape and size and naturally, so does the natural eyelash line. So when you take the eyelash out of its box, it would be a good idea to first bring it close to your natural eyelash and measure them both to see if it is the right length or not.
If it is not, use a pair of scissors to cut the excess part. Make sure to trim a little at a time, you do not want to end up with a pair of false eyelashes that is too small. Then put some eyelash glue on the false eyelashes and use it. When you are done, put some mascara on your natural eyelashes to make everything blend in nicely.
The white eyelash glue may also be a little troublesome for some women. You were able to put the false eyelash on perfectly but there is all this white glue on your lash line now. You can use a Q tip to clean it off, but you can also use black eyeliner to hide that white glue line.
